Gallery Night "Starrey Starrey Night"

Starry Starry Night
November’s Gallery Night on the Streets of Downtown Pensacola

“A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art…”
~ Paul Cezanne

On November 16th, come see the streets of downtown Pensacola fill the emotions of your arts and culture community under a Starry Starry Night. The Arts Council of NWFL presents the final of three Gallery Nights. Walk the streets and enter the shops and galleries to experience enlightening works of art, music and performance – all for free.

Inside this pull-out guide to gallery night you’ll find a map detailing what each participating business will offer to Gallery Night-goers. Find those with artists’ work you don’t want to miss or visit them all. The evening’s activities begin at 5 pm and end at 9pm.

Leave your car in the Jefferson St. or Baylen St. parking garages and stroll down the streets, or if you prefer to ride rather than walk, Gallery Night’s participants and sponsors (the Arts Council of NWFL, Downtown Improvement Board, Downtown Arts District Association [DADA], Downtown Crowd, COX Media and Sandy Sansing BMW) are providing trolley service. Three trolleys will be making stops directly in front of or very close to each participant, so listen for the ding-ding of the trolley and hop on.

While you’re Downtown for Starry Starry Night, you’ll discover a shining world of artistic expression supplied by local, national, and even international artists who labor to create beauty that will in turn create a night that is alive and richly colored with arts and culture.

Brighten your evening, enlighten your mind and embrace the emotions on November 16th Downtown Pensacola at 2007’s fall Starry Starry Night Gallery Night.
